Marker for Princess Diana. This plaque, on the side of Northampton's Guildhall, was unveiled by Diana's brother, Earl Spencer, in November, 2002. The ancestral home of Diana, Princess of Wales, is in Northamptonshire at Althorp, where she is buried. Diana was named an honorary Freeman of the Borough in 1989. The plaque was designed by two students who won a competition organised by the borough council.
